  • Prepares foods to the specifications of the state
  • Prepares food before the arrival of guests
  • Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate children with allergies or specific diet concerns
  • Ensures proper food service temperature
  • Seasons food according to recipes or company needs
  • Orders ingredients and spices as needed
  • Operates various kitchen appliance such as a stove, oven and refrigerator
  • Portions and arranges food for driver pickup
  • Estimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation
  • Keeps records and accounts of food purchases
  • Offers a creative menu
  • Cleans up kitchen daily after meal preparation
  • Communicates with Director about how to improve meal service
